The man allegedly kept staring at the 24-year-old all the way from Ghatkopar to D N Nagar station and even made lewd gestures; cops will make a sketch based on the description given by the complainant.

Once again, the lack of separate coaches for women in the Metro has emerged as a cause of concern. The Ghatkopar police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly stared at a fellow female passenger all the way from Ghatkopar to D N Nagar Metro station and also made lewd gestures.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 11.30 am on Monday, when the 24-year-old victim boarded a train from Ghatkopar. The accused boarded the train a little later and, standing near the victim, started staring at her.

This made her extremely uncomfortable, and she alighted at D N Nagar station and lodged a complaint with the D N Nagar police. On Tuesday morning the case was transferred to the Ghatkopar police, since the Metro begins at Ghatkopar.
