Mumbai metro: Andheri-Dahisar line has 30 prospective bidders

Thursday saw thirty infrastructure companies gathered to attend the pre-bid meeting to the tenders invited by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for designing and constructing an elevated viaduct and 16 stations on the Andheri (East) to Dahisar (East) Metro-7 corridor in three separate packages.

The pre-bid meeting schedule on Thursday was attended by the representatives of many reputed infra company such as M/s.HCC Ltd., M/s.Reliance Infra Ltd., M/s.Pratibha Industries Ltd., M/s.AFCONS Ltd., M/s.L&T, M/s.Dextra India Pvt. Ltd., M/s.Tata, M/s.Relcon Infra Projects Ltd., M/s.Simplex Infra Ltd., M/s.J.Kumar Infra Projects, M/s.Unity InfraProjects Ltd. M/s.SEW, Hyderabad; M/s.KMC Constructions Ltd., Hyderabad; M/s.IL&FS, Hyderabad; M/s.SOMA, Bengaluru; M/s.AL FARA’ A Infra Projects, UAE.

“The prospective bidders have shown a very keen interest,” said Sanjay Sethi, Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA. “The response also indicates the level of confidence the bidders have in the government and its agency. The Metro-7 corridor will bring down the congestion on the suburban rails and provide Mumbaikars a safe and comfortable travel everyday”, said Sethi further. More info
