MUMBAI: Mumbai Metro One, a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure along with leading banks like ICICI, State Bank of IndiaBSE -0.20 % and its subsidiary SBI Card today launched a combo card which can be used as debit, credit and metro smart card.
“Mumbai Metro One (MMOPL), through a tie up with the largest private sector bank ICICI and State Bank of India and its subsidiary SBI Card, has launched combo card (that) will enable commuters to have one card to act as both debit/credit card and metro smart card,” a release issued here said.
The facility will be available in the entire Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system of all the 12 stations on the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor.
In December last year, the company launched online recharge services which will be available to the smart card users with over 50 banks. More info
