Temperatures plummet in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Mumbaikars woke up to a cool morning on Monday as minimum temperatures in the city touched the 14 degree mark.

It was for for the first time in the month of February this year that minimum temperatures dropped as low as 14 degrees Celsius and Santacruz recorded minimum temperatures of 14.2 degrees Celsius early morning.

The minimum temperatures recorded in Colaba, meanwhile, was 19 degrees Celsius which was 1.7 degrees Celsius below normal. In case of Santacruz, the minimum temperatures recorded were 1.3 degrees Celsius below normal.

The forecast given by the regional meteorological centre – Mumbai has suggested that minimum temperatures are expected to remain around 15 degrees Celsius. More info
